OldStu Plan
OldStu strengthens the bond of Old Students by offering group life protection for members and their dependants. In times of loss, the policy delivers essential financial support, honoring the spirit of togetherness beyond school years.
Introduction
This is a Group Security Plan policy targeted at Old Students Associations and other Alumni groups. The policy is specially tailored for members of the OLD STUDENTS GROUPs to provide bereavement benefits in the event of death due to accident or natural causes for their members and other dependants.
Features
- One(1) year renewable plan
- 20 members at least
- Age:
- Members between 18 and 80 years
- Spouse between 18 and 80 years
- Up to four(4) children between 2 and 17 years
- Up to two(2) parents or parent-in-laws not more than 80 years
- Waiting Period:
- No waiting period for deaths of member due to natural causes.
- Three(3) months waiting period for deaths of Spouse or Parents/ln-Laws or Child(ren) due to natural causes.
- No waiting period for accidental deaths of all insureds.
Benefits
- Death benefit is provided in the event of death of the policyholder due to accident or natural causes of a member.
- Optional (rider) benefits:
- Death Benefit in the event of death of a member's named Spouse, Children and Parents/ln-Laws
- Permanent Total Disability (PTD) Benefit due to injury or sickness
- Medical Expenses Benefit because of injury
- Critical Illness Benefit upon diagnosis of a named terminal disease
- Hospitalization Benefit upon at least 2 days admission at a recognized hospital.
- NB: month deferred period for Critical Illness & Hospitalization.
- Benefits can also be tailored to a preferred premium if the group desires
